On Monday, Prep IV visited the SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff, home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club. After an introductory talk on the history of the ground, the boys embarked on a behind the scenes tour. This included a visit to the press box, Sky TV studio, players’ dining room and unique access to the players’ changing rooms. After lunch, the boys took the opportunity for some cricket training using the impressive indoor practice facilities. Overall, they enjoyed a rare insight into the workings of an International Sports Ground. This visit served to inspire both teams on Wednesday as they recorded victories against Tockington and Cardiff and the Vale. A special metion must go to Gus, for his maiden century.
