The boys in Prep I and Prep II enjoyed a day at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff, on Thursday. They were amazed by some of the famous pieces of art that they had the chance to see by artists such as Monet, Manet, Turner and Rodin, to name but a few. Prep I focused on looking at how the Impressionists created landscapes, whilst Prep II spent much of their day observing portraits, concentrating particularly on the work of Augustus John and Gwen John. The boys are all keen to visit again and share what they saw with their families. It really is a great day out!
