A Note form the Head of Monmouth School Boys’ Prep

I was delighted to spend the whole day on Wednesday with Alfie (PII) who was the Head for the Day at Monmouth School Boys’ Prep. It gave me the opportunity to evaluate my own role (we did a lot of walking around and chatting) and Alfie had the chance to build his confidence and experience a day in the life of a working professional. Alfie looked immaculate (in his brand new blue suede shoes and smart jacket and tie) and noted by the end of Celebration Assembly that he did “a lot of shaking hands”. He also attended lots of meetings and had guided tours of the Pre-Prep and the Girls’ Prep alongside the other mini-Heads. The initiative was very enjoyable and also raised a lot of money for the parents’associations and designated charities from the Burn’s Night Ball. Well done to Alfie and thank you to the other Heads and mini-Heads for all theirhard work.
