A Note from the Head of Monmouth School for Boys’ Prep

It is unusual for us to be at school during the week of Halloween because we are normally on the half-term break. Halloween is a fun time of year for our boys with the hugely enjoyable annual pumpkin “weigh-in” on Monday and the highly creative “Jack-O-Lantern” display on Friday, with Halloween itself nicely sandwiched in the middle. I know that many boys in the school took part in one or both of our events and are to be congratulated on their efforts. The festivities proved popular with the local papers with plenty of good coverage to look out for. I hope that you are able to safely enjoy any bonfire and firework parties you may be attending over the weekend or on Monday. What a fun time of the year it is!
