A Note from the Head of MBP

It is a particular joy to work in a school in the Christmas period because children keep the delight of Christmas alive and this was never truer than during our annual “Lighting of the Christmas Tree” event on Thursday. The tree, kindly donated by a Monmouth School Boys’ Prep family looked magnificent in the library atrium space festooned with lights, tinsel and handmade bauble decorations. As ever, the boys sang beautifully and the event was accompanied by poetry and prayers.

Thank you to the wonderful FROGS parents who served the mulled wine and mince pies and of course to Mr Walton and Mrs Kirman whose hard work and organisation made the whole event possible. On the eve of advent, what better way could there be to begin the run up to Christmas!
