A Note from the Head of Monmouth School Boys’ Prep
We are now in the middle of the assessment procedure for all the boys in Year 6 as they prepare to progress up to Monmouth School for Boys in September. This week we have completed the General Entry interviews which are a very important part of the admissions process. It is great to have the opportunity for the boys to meet with members of staff at the senior school in a face-to-face situation. For some it could have been a nerve-wracking experience, but they have been well-prepared with mock-interviews at The Grange. I am also thrilled by how our colleagues at the senior school took the time and trouble to set the boys at their ease and it is great to see them return from the interviews with a smile on their face, a buzz of excitement and some sense of relief. Well done, boys; the hard work is just beginning as the written assessments are just two weeks away!
