A Note from the Head of Monmouth School Boys’ Prep

It seems a very, very long time since we were readying ourselves for the start of term in the cold and dark of January and now we are just 24 hours away from the moving forwards of the clocks and we can start to look forward to more hours of daylight and hopefully a continuation of these springtime temperatures. We have certainly achieved a lot and packed a huge amount in to the long term. My personal highlights have been the Year 6 hike to Biblins (bliss), the Eisteddfod music and poetry competition (proud) and the wonderful Friday Afternoon Singing Project (joyful). Reading all the boys’ reports gives me ample opportunity to reflect on all of the progress that has been made over the term and also think about their targets for the term ahead. We look forward to getting started all over again on Tuesday 23rd April when many people will still be on a sugar-high from all those Easter eggs. In the meantime I would like to wish all of our families a very refreshing holiday period and a very happy Easter.
