15 February 2019
A Note from the Head of Monmouth School Boys’ Prep
After a long and dark winter it feels as though Spring is on the cusp of emerging. Yesterday was the warmest St Valentine’s Day in 21 years and we certainly made the most of it with a wonderful hike to Biblins Bridge and back with the Year 6 boys. Along the way we enjoyed beautiful sunshine, found a fair few geocaches and played some great games. At the time of writing I am optimistically hoping that the sun will burst through the fog and shine on our House Cross Country this afternoon as well. I wish you all a great February half-term holiday and that you will all get to enjoy the first signs of Spring at some point. We return on Monday 25th February with a gentle reminder that Year 4 are on an Art trip to Bath that day.
