A note from the Head of Monmouth School Boys’ Prep

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a real treat on Wednesday when I attending the Junior Monmouth’s Got Talent competition at the Bridges Centre. This is a very worthwhile charitable event, organised by boys from the senior school with all proceeds being donated to Bridges. After an open audition in front of the whole school, we decided to send along Dylan P, Edward G, Milo, Harry G and Henry TE to represent the Boys’ Prep. Dylan, Edward and Milo had the difficult job of going first and they delighted the audience with their unaccompanied Barber Shop style arrangement of an American folk song. Harry played his guitar beautifully and was placed third overall. In the end it was the magic skills of Henry a.k.a The Trickster who won overall with his impressive display of card and coin tricks and his comical performance on stage. Well done boys for representing us so well!
