We were treated to strong performances in the poetry recitation final as a start to the Eisteddfod competition. A representative from each house competed in the year group competition with their own interpretation of their poem. The winners are as follows: Prep I – Aston (Nelson) who recited ‘From a Railway Carriage’, Prep II – Joseph (Raleigh) who recited ‘A Liking for the Viking’, Prep III – Ivo (Grenville) who recited ‘Tyger, Tyger’ and Prep IV – Tom (Raleigh) who recited ‘The Visitor’.
