Here are photographs, as promised, of the boys enjoying the eclipse last week.

We were very careful not to look directly at the sun and enjoyed exploring lots of ways of viewing the eclipse. Many of the boys commented on how quiet the birds were and how it became noticeably cooler at its peak. They also enjoyed finding out about other cultures’ explanations of why we experience eclipses.
