The inspirational African Children’s Choir will be performing two charity concerts in Monmouth this month.

The choir, which gave an uplifting performance at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, will be singing at Monmouth School for Girls’ Main Hall on Tuesday 15th January and Wednesday 16th January from 6.30pm.

This family-friendly event is open to the community and will involve pupils from Monmouth School Girls’ Prep and Monmouth School Boys’ Prep.

The choir’s Just as I am UK tour combines traditional hymns with African cultural sounds and a stunning visual story of God’s faithfulness.

The concerts will include inspirational stories, beautiful voices and lively African songs.

A free-will offering will be taken at the performances to support Music for Life programmes, including the continued education of the children you see in concert.

Music for Life, the official fundraising charity of the African Children’s Choir, work in seven African countries and have educated over 52,000 children as well as impacting the lives of over 100,000 people through its relief and development programmes during its history.

By focusing on providing education, Music for Life’s purpose is to help Africa’s most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow.

Tickets, costing £5 per person for this immersive worship experience, can be ordered by emailing: girlsprep.enquiries@habsmonmouth.org
