Science
At Monmouth School Boys’ Prep we firmly believe that the upper primary age-range is where the crucial foundations to a lifetime’s understanding of science are laid and where the underpinnings of a lifetime of science education really begin. Therefore, Science is taught through enquiry, experiment and attempting to be as ‘hands on’ as possible in order to try to facilitate a deeper understanding of the topic in hand.
Every year we host the annual Monmouth School Boys’ Prep Science Fair where Prep IV boys develop their own science project and present their results in a competition at the Blake Theatre in the summer.
