Congratulations to Blue Resolution, Monmouth’s latest Young Enterprise company, who won Best Company Report at the Newport and Monmouthshire Area Finals this week. The team were presenting their company, in competition with 6 other teams, and gave an excellent presentation outlining their business idea. The team have been successfully marketing a 10% discount card to promote shopping in Monmouth at the many locally run outlets.
Their website, as well as their presentation skills, were highly praised, particularly as it was written specifically for the task by George in 6.1.
They can consider themselves unlucky not to have made it to the National finals of the competition as, it turned out, they had made more money than any other company in our region.
