West Midlands Safari Trip

March 12, 2016

West Midlands SafariIt’s not everyday an ostrich pokes its pea-brained head through the school minibus window! 21 junior pupils from Monmouth School and HMSG enjoyed the crisp and sunny Sunday exploring West Midlands Safari Park.

Having been greeted up close by kudu, camels, zebra and water buffalo pupils were particularly thrilled to watch incredible animals including elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinoceros, hippopotamus and tigers. .Mr Peake, Art teacher at Monmouth School, was the perfect tour guide, with his knowledge of the big 5, having lived and worked in Southern Africa for two years.

The highlight of the trip was arguably a pride of lions although pupils were particularly excited to brave the adrenaline fuelled rides at the fun Park.
