The rugby players at Monmouth School for Boys recorded a hard-fought 15-10 home victory against old rivals, Millfield School.

The under-16 A team showed plenty of spirit, focus and determination to edge out visiting Millfield on a bitterly cold afternoon last Saturday (30th November).

Photographer Gareth Roberts captured the action which saw important tries from Joe and Hugo put the school in control.

Eoin and Theo were among the players who also gave impressive displays and helped seal a memorable victory for the school.

Meanwhile, the Under-14 A team also put in a first-class showing, grinding out a 5-0 triumph in a bruising tussle against their Millfield counterparts.
