Monmouth School for Boys’ 1st VIII has returned to competitive rowing action ahead of the National Schools Regatta on 29th May.

The boys travelled to Shrewsbury School last weekend and performed very well against a top championship school.

This positive display has given the Monmouth rowers much-needed confidence that the winter lockdown training has paid off, especially after all the disruption and having to deal with a variety of poor weather conditions.

The Monmouth boys are now looking forward to their rowing fixture against Radley College this weekend.
