Monmouth School’s Senior Public Speaking team of Joe, Zamir and Jack were victorious against strong opposition teams from HMSG and Monmouth Comprehensive recently in the first round of the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition. Zamir’s speech proposing that ‘Only dead fish go with the flow’ was perfectly pitched and all three were commended by the judges for their skills of delivery and teamwork. They now go on to the Regional finals this weekend where they will face the strongest teams from Gloucestershire and Bristol.
