Congratulations to Sam Pierce OM , still only in his third year at the Royal Academy of Music in London, who will be the guest soloist with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in a concert at St David’s Hall in Cardiff on Sunday May15th at 3.00 as part of the BBC ‘Ten Pieces’ project. Sam will be performing the finale to Haydn’s trumpet concerto and he is another fine example of a student who has taken their excellent music knowledge from Monmouth School and allowed it to blossom in the wider world. Well done, Sam.
