New senior prefects announced as Theo is Head of School

The new senior prefects at Monmouth School for Boys have been appointed after a selection process that was full of outstanding candidates.

Keen sportsman Theo has been named as the next Head of School.

Seventeen-year-old Theo enjoys playing cricket and rugby and is studying A levels in Maths, Physics and Geography.

Theo took part in a recent England men’s Under-18 rugby development camp and, in addition to representing the school’s first team, plays his club rugby with Worcester Warriors Academy.

He is aiming to reinvigorate the school community after lockdown as the nation finally emerges from the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic.

Theo will be supported by his Deputy Head Boys, Joe, and Zeb.

Joe, 17, is also a keen sportsman and has been training with the England men’s Under-18 rugby squad.

Joe plays his club rugby with Bristol Bears’ academy team, enjoys playing cricket and is taking History, Geography and Economics at A level.

Zeb, 16, has just won a prestigious Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad Senior Physics Challenge

Zeb is studying A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and English and is looking forward to his senior leadership role alongside Theo and Joe.
