This year’s Literary Festival got off to a flying and very hot start this morning with some unusual and quite challenging workshops based on the literary texts studied in the 6Th Form, by Postgraduate students from Bristol University.
It was attended by students from all three Monmouth schools who enjoyed working together creatively in a different style and context from the classroom. The impeccable preparation that had gone into the “lessons” and the enthusiasm of these newly qualified teachers was very much in evidence.
