Last three talks of Monmouth School Autumn Lecture Series

The final lecture of this Autumn’s series will be given on Friday, November 28, when Dr Paul Roberts of the British Museum talks about ‘Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum’. It is part of Monmouth School’s 400th Anniversary Autumn Lecture Series.

On November 14, people were invited to learn more about the French Revolution at a free lecture. The talk, ‘When did the French Revolution Go Wrong?’ will be given by Dr Linda Kirk of the University of Sheffield on Friday, November 14 at Monmouth School.

On Tuesday, November 18, Dr Anna Marmodoro of Corpus Christi College, Oxford spoke on ‘Some Problems in Medical Ethics’.

All the talks take place at 7pm in the Lecture Room of the William Jones Building (photos).
