Languages and Careers event – Come along and be inspired!November 11th, 2016
The Modern Languages Department are holding their annual careers evening and here is a letter from Madame Parsons inviting you along:
I would like to invite you and your son(s) to attend the fourth edition of the Languages and Careers event, on Wednesday 23 November 2016 at 7pm, in the Blake theatre. We are very honoured to host eminent speakers who will share their expertise in their field. They will provide career advice relevant to their sector as well as talking about the role of languages in their profession and organisation. They include:
- GCHQ– Intelligence
- Prof Tim Farrant- Pembroke College, Oxford
- Diana Carter- IT, Salesforces (world leading CRM software)
- James Jeans- Finance (Bureau Van Dijk)
- Nathan Ingamels- Medicine
With such a prestigious panel, this promises to be a very informative, inspiring and useful evening for your son, and will undoubtedly assist him in making crucial decisions for his future.
