A kind-hearted teenager has organised an online quiz to raise funds to buy essential items for local NHS hospital patients.
Dylan, a Year 9 pupil at Monmouth School for Boys, also wanted to treat the hard working hospital staff.
His online quiz for pupils and staff last Tuesday afternoon (26th January) raised almost £100 and Dylan promptly bought the goods.
“I am pleased to say we managed to raise a total of £90 to put together a box of essential items for local hospital patients and treats for staff,” said 14-year-old Dylan.
“The online quiz went really well, and all the pupils and staff who took part really enjoyed it.”
He added: “I am so pleased that we managed to raise such a good amount of money for this excellent cause.”
Dylan completed the shop for the items, and dropped the goods off at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Cwmbran on Friday morning (29th January).
