Junior Science and the exploding volcanoes!

May 23, 2016

Here are some fantastic pictures from Junior Science club’s volcano project. As you can see the first 2 weeks were fully focused on the building and painting of the volcanoes’ structures and then, in week 3, the testing was able to begin.

In the pictures you can see the four different volcanoes which were tested, starting with Bicarbonate of soda and Vinegar, then a tower of foam, followed by firework mixture and then, to top it all, the rather more explosive ‘Krakatoa’!

Well done to all the boys involved in Junior Science Club for these great lunchtime experiments.
