Impressionism, tapestries and 3D printing inspire Artists

March 7, 2016

Art Trip March 16Form 4 GCSE art and design pupils enjoyed a flying visit to Bath’s Victoria Gallery, where they were inspired by the bright, playful and decorative Grayson Perry tapestries, which, whilst telling a story also explore the concept of exploring British taste and the class system. The Holburne Museum offered inspiration through a study of impressionist paintings contrasting with the creative 3-D printed forms of Michael Eden. Our boys returned to school full of ideas to further develop their own work in ceramics….watch this space!Art Trip March 16c
