A sportsman at Monmouth School for Boys has been showcasing his impressive hockey skills with Wales.

Sixth Form student, Dan, was a member of Wales Under-17 boys’ squad which played as Celtic Jaguars at the England Hockey Futures Cup.

Playing under the Jaguars’ banner, Dan and his team-mates faced regional teams from England and Scotland in St Albans.

Dan joined Monmouth School for Boys from Chepstow School 12 months ago and is entering his third season as a member of the Wales Under-18 squad.

He has just linked up with Firebrands Hockey Club in Bristol for the new season, having previously played for Gwent Hockey Club.
