At Monmouth School, we celebrate European Day of languages for a whole week so that all our pupils can benefit from the experience. During lessons, we had French, Spanish, German and Russian food, quizzes, songs and Japanese, Basque and Breton lessons. Outside lessons, we had Pétanque on the main lawn as well as in Chapel house with HMSG girls, a giant board game, a salsa lesson for Form III boys and girls and a German giant board game at HMSG. It has been a very successful week of fun, discovery, learning and cooperation, not only between MS and HMSG but also between pupils from different age groups. Thank you also to the canteen and the library who took part, offering foreign food and literature all week.
