Essay awards for Economics studentsMarch 22nd, 2016
George and Meghan recently attended a presentation dinner at Haberdashers Hall. They competed in the Casenove (Schroder’s) economic competition.
The competition is held in the Spring term of each year, and is open to any school students studying UK A level or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. Both George and Meghan were invited to write a unique essay of between 1,000 to 2,500 words, on a subject set by the President of the Royal Economic Society.
George finished in second place and Meghan was placed in the top 6 for their essays on ‘The Impact of Negative Interest Rates’. Well done to both.
