Budding journalist Zamir goes Vogue

November 28, 2017

A budding writer and photographer will be testing out his journalistic skills for an established national magazine.

Zamir, 16, has been appointed as the new Tatler Schools Social Editor for Monmouth School for Boys.

He is currently Editor of The Lion’s Mouth, the weekly student newspaper at the school.

He is planning to cover fun and lively events at the school for Tatler’s magazine and website.

Zamir has already visited Vogue House in London and is looking forward to promoting the school’s activities in print and online.

“It’s a very exciting opportunity after Tatler contacted the school with this opportunity,” said Zamir, who is studying Geography, Biology, English and Philosophy at A level.

“I had an induction day in London with 50 people from other schools and we had a tour of the building and heard about the history of Tatler.”

He added: “I jumped at this opportunity because it’s a very good chance for me to test out my journalistic skills and to submit articles about the school to a respectable magazine.”
