Boys brave the cold to raise money for charity

January 12, 2018

Six pupils from Monmouth School for Boys braved the freezing conditions to run the annual charity car park.

James, Harry, Tom, Teddy, Billy and Will, all from Town House, collected donations for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

After five chilly hours, the boys, fuelled by hot chocolate, collected £209.47.

The BHF were extremely appreciative when the boys visited the Monmouth branch in Monnow Street to give the donations to store manager, Jill.

The boys would like to thank members of the public for their generous support and have been told the money raised will go directly into BHF’s research projects.
