Barcelona beckoned for Monmouth students

November 2, 2018

In the October half term eighteen boys and girls went on a Spanish language trip to Barcelona. They visited some of the most iconic sights not only in Spain but also Europe including the Nou Camp football stadium, Parc Güell, La Sagrada Familia, The Magic Fountain, La Boquería food market and the Picasso Museum. The group also thoroughly enjoyed their two language lessons and made huge gains in their knowledge of the language. On the last night the group enjoyed a Tapas feast at a local restaurant and enjoyed trying delicacies such as calamares and padron peppers. Overall it was a very successful and enjoyable trip with some of the highlights being named as the Nou Camp football stadium and La Boquería food market. ¡Hasta la próxima vez Barcelona!
