A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Literature-themed charity cake and book sale in the Library on Thursday, March 5th.

Held to celebrate World Book Day, it was lovely to see so many students, staff and parents supporting the event by baking / donating cakes and books, buying goodies, providing spending money and spreading the word too.

The tables were filled with all kinds of delicious treats, including a ‘Mad-hatters tea party table’ from Alice in Wonderland, Queen of Hearts’ jam tarts and Harry Potter- themed cupcakes to name but a few.

The cake sale – held at breaktime and lunchtime – proved very popular and raised over £146 to date, with donations still coming in from our book and DVD sale. Money raised will be donated to the Ted Senior Foundation, supporting mental health and well-being.
