Bach and Jazz take over assembly

Assembly Music2The whole school were treated to a sneak preview of the music which will be played at the Nepal Earthquake Benefit concert, this morning. In a change to the usual assembly programme the 16 strong Bach Orchestra, led by Mr Hunt, performed three pieces; Rondo by Purcell, Blackjack and finally Palladio by Karl Jenkins. The Jazz band then took over to play Gonna Fly Now to send the school off to period one with a spring in their step.

The Nepal Benefit concert is on the 24th November at 7pm in the Blake Theatre.
