COVID safety measures with entrance procedures

We are reviewing all our entrance procedures, scholarships and taster days to reduce any risk of infection around the schools. We are adhering to the latest safety measures and government guidelines to minimise contact between pupils and staff and restricting the number of visitors to our sites. We will make further announcements as soon as we can.

Our Admissions Registrar, Miss Ellie Townsend, will be happy to advise and clarify any points concerning the entry procedures or arrange a private visit to the school.

Points of Entry

Our main points of entry are at age 7, 11, 13 and 16 in the autumn term. However, we can consider pupils joining at other ages and at other times of year if places are available.

For all candidates, we like to request a report from their current school and also invite them along for a brief interview. However, if the above dates are not convenient, we can sometimes arrange alternative dates and entry papers can be sent abroad for those living overseas. Past papers and guidelines for the entry assessments may be requested from the Admissions Registrar or can be downloaded from this website.

Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries

Awards are available for the autumn entry to those joining at age 11, 13, and 16 to both day boys and boarders.
