Four outstanding vocalists at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools will be delivering the musical masterpiece at The Blake Theatre on Friday 18th March and Saturday 19th March at 7.30pm.
Sam, Lily, Danny and Ffion are starring in Songs for a New World, a musical written by three-time Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist, Jason Robert Brown.
With Monmouth School for Girls’ Director of Music, Mr Derek Harris as Musical Director and pianist, the eagerly-awaited production will include a 10-piece professional band and a variety of genres, including pop, gospel and jazz.
A troupe of 18 dancers with Ms Rhyan Parry’s Dance 4 Life will light up the stage for Brown’s cornerstone production with an eye-catching routine for one of the highlights – The Stream Train.
