6th Form artists thoroughly enjoyed two days of portrait painting with Lee Wright from the Welsh Academy of Arts.

Lee showed examples of recent commissions and demonstrated techniques used by the old masters. Pupils initially completed a tonal ‘grisaille’ under painting and then worked with a very limited colour palette to complete their own wonderful individual portraits.
